Uber to expand to Caribbean Coast

Uber has announced they have begun operating in Limón Province. While they haven't announced details presumably this includes Puerto Viejo and area.

A quick check of the app today indicates no available cars yet except in Limón center. However pricing is live for Puerto Viejo destinations and at least for now is significantly cheaper than the taxis have been charging. But whether any drivers will offer rides at those prices is yet to be seen.
