There are also 3 fully equipped 1 bedroom apartments with kitchen for rent. The whole property can be rented together with 6 bedrooms total for up to 17 persons!

I spent a week here with 3 friends and it was incredible. Hakan and his wife Fatima are very friendly and helpful. They give lots of local advice and offer help. The area is beautiful and secure with a locked gate and security cameras, although I never felt unsafe in the area. We stayed in the larger apartment which you see to the right in the picture. It was perfect for us and one room even has A/C. There is a full sized fridge and a cooking stove so we were able to eat in and save money which we loved, especially for breakfast. There are lots of birds and other wild life in the area to enjoy. The beach and Jaguar Rescue are within walking distance and everything else within biking distance. Hakan was kind enough to have bikes ready for us from Monkey Bike Rental when we arrived. I can't wait to return one day!

My four girlfriends and I just had a week long stay in Puerto Viejo. We stayed in the area of Cocoles in Flor Del Caribe. Hakan and his wife Fatima were amazing hosts. They were very helpful, friendly, and accomadating. The house and site was beautiful. It was a perfect location just outside of town. It was within biking distance to Many nearby towns and walking distance to many lovely beaches. Our hosts also had a wonderful little buy who was full of spunk and the best little house cat anyone could ask for (Max). All in all it was a wonderful house, family, and experience and we would definitely stay there again.

During our trip to Costa Rica/Puerto Viejo we stayed in this house (we are a family with 2 kids, 5 and 7). They are new at the market but I got in contact with them thru Monkey Rentals that we rented our bicycles with. We stayed for only 3 nights here but we could easily have stayed here for months. The location for us was great, just a short bike ride (or you can walk also) to a wonderful beach. And after the beach it is great with these pools, specially the kids loved the small pool. Supermarket is a short bike ride away, and it is only about 4km from the village of Puerto Viejo that is fun to check out. We saw sloths, toucan parrots, butterflies etc. in the trees around us. This is a great place for a family. They also do long term rentals and we might try to come back for a longer period later on.
