Will be coming up from Bocas del Toro ...arriving on WED (Not Tues as they are closed) Plan on enjoy a couple of great dinners here ...before heading San Jose and the Hotel President.

Friends and I went last night and had some delicious pizzas. There is great people watching too, it's got a location overlooking the main street with lots of people walking by. Service can be a bit spotty though and the prices are no bargain; individual pizzas run average 6000 colones (about $12 US)

What a Great Place ...the Feel is so fantastic. I live in Costa Rica for 2.5 years ...and anytime I visit the Carribean CR or Panama, I ALWAYs enjoy Drinks and Several Meals at Cafe Viejo.
It is soooo good, I have taken many friend there ...as well as just made friends.
Pizza is most excellent. Seafood Pasta is an experience. ENjoy ...I know you will
Plus ..it is great place for Drinks and Hanging OUT>

Having been coming to PV an average of 1-2x/year since '04, my husband (a Tico) and I LOVE Cafe Viejo! Their focacia is delicious, the Mojito's fresh, and the owner very friendly. Love the relaxing fusion/electronica/world music, and can't wait to go again.
