It doesn’t get any better than river and sea kayaking! Get acquainted with the wilderness as we drive to the most beautiful location in the area, Punta Uva.

Enjoy the Coast

After a safety briefing we will embark in a magical sea kayaking journey paralleling the coast. Keep an eye out – it’s full of cliffs, caves, and the most amazing rainforest. Then we will paddle our way up river though gorgeous rainforest. Here, you can expect to spot monkeys, sloth, colorful birds, river turtles, bats and iguanas. Your professional guide will deliver a lot of interesting insights on this wonderful eco system.

Beach It

Back at the beach we will take a nice break to relax, swim and enjoy some nicely presented fresh fruit and snacks. Then, we’ll start hike to the great over view at Grape Point.

Please note: if the sea section is cancelled due to unsafe conditions we will offer a longer hike in the jungle. No refund will apply.

What to bring: Comfortable water shoes that will stay on (keens, crocs or strap on sandals) swimsuit on, sunscreen, hut, long sleeve shirt/rash guard to cover your back, camera (ideally water proof), water bottle, towel, insect repellent, binoculars, raincoat and a bit of cash

  2. Cancellation charges vary by the provider, please contact us for details.
  3. Most services run daily unless they have reached capacity on your date or have not reached a minimum number of persons required for the service to operate. If we are unable to accommodate you on your chosen date, we will, at your option, either reschedule your date or promptly refund your payment, less bank fees.
  4. Tours will depart daily regardless of weather unless conditions would make it unsafe, so please be prepared for the possibility of rain.
  5. Should your plans change and you need to make changes, we will work with the supplier to either accommodate you at another time or refund your money according to our terms & conditions.
  6. The client is responsible for any fees charged by the vendor as they have committed resources to your arrangement and may have more restrictive policies. The more notice you give us, the more likely we will be able to re-accommodate you.
  7. For arrangements within Costa Rica please always make sure to carry a copy of your valid passport and your last entry stamp with you. For day and multi-day trips that involve border-crossing you must carry your valid passport and a copy of it with you at all times. We also recommend to have a printed version of your flight ticket, to proof that you will leave the country. Border crossing fees may apply.
  8. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice are non-refundable.
  9. Cancellations of single bookings will incur a $15 cancellation fee (plus any bank or vendor charges). Changes of dates or times may be possible without a fee depending on availability or vendor policy; otherwise the cancellation fee will apply.
  10. Cancellations are subject to bank imposed fees which are generally 3% to 5% of the amount. Or we will be happy to apply your payment to another service.
  11. Cancellations must be made in writing.
  12. No shows are subject to a 100% penalty.
