2012 was a great year for Puerto Viejo Satellite - we had a record number of visitors in January 2012 and expect to surpass that again this month (January is always our busiest month). Overall in 2012 we had 270,000 unique users to the website and just shy of half a million page views! See our traffic graph at the bottom. We also had tons of new businesses listed!

As a business listed on that site, I want to thank you for being part of that success!

We also introduced a number of new features in 2012, so there are even more benefits of an upgraded listing! Some of the new items include:

• Enhanced photo gallery which more higher resolution photos, see for example http://www.puertoviejosatellite.com/detail.php?l=Totem+Hotel+Resort&sg=1. If you'd like to upgrade your photo gallery on the site, please contact me with new high resolution photos. Weblink/photo upgrade listings can have up to 3 photos. Puerto Viejo Top Pick listings up to 10 photos.
• Video tours right on your page. If you have a video, let me know.
• Direct facebook "like" control right on your page. If yours isn't listed, let me know.
• Special offers for Puerto Viejo Satellite readers available on your page for Puerto Viejo Top Pick listings, see for example http://www.puertoviejosatellite.com/detail.php?l=Banana+Azul.   If you'd like to add a special offer to your listing, please let me know.
• Ability to customize the Reserve Now button to link to your custom reservation form if you'd like.

The Puerto Viejo facebook page has also been very active over the year, with over 11,000 likes! Puerto Viejo Top Pick listings get two additional benefits on facebook as well:

• Your facebook page added as a favorite page on the Puerto Viejo page
• One promotional post per year of an event or special offer for your listing done as the Puerto Viejo facebook page which will show up in the news feeds of all 11,000+ people who have liked the page.
