We had a wonderful time at the exhibit and can recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Great art, ambiance, music, food and wine. Hope to see more of this in the future. Kudos

I think its really great that a cultural event of this magnitude is taking place in our little Puerto Viejo and I hope many will take advantage of this and visit the exhibit. I am familiar with their work and its wonderful so don’t miss it

I hope they show up too Dani and that the event exceeds people’s expectations because it may well prove to be a high point in what is gearing up to be a less than stellar high season, not just for the Caribbean, but the country as a whole.

News that the US airlines have cancelled a combined total of 1000 flights in and out of Costa Rica in comparison to last year is a real troubling indicator of what type of season tourism related industries are likely to have this year.

Lets hope they will arrive. Puerto Viejo is ripe for the arrival of higher ticket tourists and in much need of it too. Using common sense will keep a traveller out of most trouble anywhere in the world and that works for PV too.

I actually had coffee this morning with Fabio and Mario before they headed back to san Jose.

They’ll be returning Friday and we all joked that, if the numbers of high end tourists some are predicting will be here actually show up, Puerto Viejo, at least temporarily, will have to become “Fortress Viejo” to make sure they all stay safe.
