This is great. My Grand parents were from this area. Cahuita to be exact. My parents have always spent vacations there, and I have started following their footsteps. I have always loved this are, and continue to boast about its beauty to all in the USA whenever possible. I have always felt that this area was left out of headlines due to its strong Afro-Caribbean flavor....as some choose to put it. I have been looking to invest time on developing some of the land that my grandparents left for us, but everytime It seem overwhelming due to the lack of infrastructure this side of the country has endured. My brother & I asked some tourists from San Jose one time what do they feel this side of the country need, and they said it need some place where people can come catch some sun, and drink a piña colada without anybody bothering them.....you know? Anyway, I just got back from visiting there & Panama 2-wks ago, and saw how Puerto Viejo is striving to change...Keep it going man! Anyway, above is the site I started building on my idea.
